An outstanding college athlete who set many college records, he was selected in the NFL draft in the 12th round by the then Los Angeles Rams.

His achievements in athletics led him to coach high school football and teach business education for two years before entering Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1972.

His post graduate studies are ongoing and is pursing Diplomat status of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists, whereby he is board eligible.
